The ability to communicate clearly is vital in today's world. As the President and Global Communication Specialist of the Institute of Accent Modification, I am experienced and certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology to provide foreign accent modification training. We utilize a client centered blended learning method which incorporates the Compton P-ESL program and others to optimize our client's success.
In our customized sessions for individuals and groups, my team and I use an integrative approach to help clients reach their goals and objectives. These convenient workshops are available in individual or group sessions, and are conducted either in-person at our corporate headquarters in Chicago, at the client's office, or online.
I am nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and am fully accredited and licensed. I am also a member of the ITBE (Illinois Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages).
I first began my career as a clinical Audiologist, spending over twelve years in private practice, dispensing hearing aids, diagnostic testing, supervising interns, and counseling clients. I have counseled several area small businesses and Fortune 500 companies regarding their employee's communication needs, as well as several area colleges and universities, including Elmhurst College and Dominican University. I have been a frequently invited speaker for service clubs, consumer groups, and retirement communities.
Outside of my work as an Accent Coach, I am presently studying Spanish and Greek.
Meng Ge
Meng Ge graduated from Communication University of China, majoring in computer Science and Technology in 2008. She graduated recently from Loyola University in Chicago, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communication. Fluent in Chinese- Mandarin dialect and English. She has provided marketing assistance and customer service for China Information World and Rionach Technology & Treatment Development while living in Beijing.
